Market Rates of Materials, Labours and Machinery

Rates are inclusive of royalties and all taxes including GST
The rates are at site including carriage
The Chief Engineers on the basis of these inputs rates shall fix the rate of each item of the work for Rough Cost Estimate for Administrative Approval and detailed estimate for Technical Sanction in accordance with notification number No.RO(TECH)FD 2-3/2004 dated 2nd August 2004, however the finished rate of an item of work shall not exceed the market rate of that item in the area/district. The non standardized shall be governed by Letter No.RO(TECH)FD 18-23/2004 dated 21st September 2004.
Rate for item of carpeting shall be fixed by Chief Engineers on the basis of different %age of bitumen i.e. 3% to 6%, however payment will be made to contractor as per job mix formula or bitumen used in the work.
