The Resource Wing performs the following functions:
- Responsible to watch releases of federal divisible pool taxes, straight transfers, and special grants etc.
- Matters pertaining to the taxes, duties, fines, fees and levies of all ta collecting government departments
- Deals with the foreign aid (loans and grants/loans and advances) etc.
- Deals with the matters of loans related government servants/companies
- Deals with the daily cash balance position of the government of Punjab
